Hey im playing on EuphRO and i downloaded Openkore. I ran it and it all went fine then my acocount got banned. I was wondering what the server uses (or generally) to detect botters and if their is anyway to get around it?
There are a variety of autobanning method, one of most popular is the hidden monster/npc, the server place a perfectly hidden monster in a place near you.
When you are playing ordinarily, you can't see the hidden monster, but when you bot, you automatically detects the hidden monster and the bot request the server for the monster's infomation such as name. When the server recieves the request for the hidden monster, it will ban you because a legitimate player can never know that the monster is there.
I got banned quite a number of times for detecting the monster while i was playing in the client, thats the bad point of hex client, i just need to tell the GMs that i'm not using official client and they unban me =D

havent seen such thing before >_< maybe because i stopped playing few months ago.. but who is the genius who invented the way to detect bot? :P.. hopefully it wont be implemented by gravity or we are so screwed..
Freya servers already implemented the "Hidden GM sneaking up on you and you requested for the GM's name" technique, its been applied to monsters and npcs to make it automated.. Dang!
But i read it in openkore's forum that the new versions already automatically removed hidden npc/monsters, but on the most first and last ban i've got, i ran the bot and i see two lines that say something about hidden monster and the second line says found monster scorpion, after that, i got banned.. And i was using openkore 1.9.0 i think, or 1.6.6..
I remember that there have a server have some thing like bot detect stuff..
But it not using hidden Npc/Monster..
Its like this.., When u login and play ordinarily u CANT able to move and a auto message will pm u and ask u about a secret code to able u to move
The code shows like this , u will b healed by something and the heal rate is like "8294" and u need type /pass 8294 to able to move..
If u use BOT u cant c that code ..
Really? So much have changed since i've been gone. Anyway, i'm sure you can see the values, try using heal on yourself. You can see the amount being healed.
