How to set up my own private server?

I was thinking of creating my own private server since I will get my internet connection cut down soon. i'd be really glad if you can help me ^^! THank you very much =)

I think it's about time you should give internet a break. Besides playing by yourself in the whole world alone, how lonely is that. =X

However, if you're persistent, try [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
