master version and version

is there an easier way to know/sniff the master version and version of RO clients? i'm playing aeRO but openkore 1.6.9 always do this...

Connecting to Master Server...
Connecting (72.36.236:5000)... couldn't connect: Unknown error
Timeout on Master Server, reconnecting...

so whats the problem here? do i need a bypass or something? because there's a rumor of private servers using Game Guard...

If you want to know if there is a easier way to do things, show us how you did things in the first place so we can post an easier method.

Here are two easiest method.
#1, Use packet [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
#2, Use GRF tool to extract sclientinfo.xml from data.grf of the private server and information on the server will be written inside the sclientinfo.xml you've extracted.

If there is nothing else, i'll close this thread shortly.
