Rakion GameGuard Emulation [Credits to:rapion125-GzN]

So, GG just updated to 1039. All engines are patched. So what do WE do? We emulate. I guess no one was able to save the rev 1032 files. But, let's try using 1021 files

This method is not just a 1 click and emulation. It actually involves thinking.

---Tutorial---
1. Extract Abyss.rar into C:\Program Files\Abyss
2. Go to the folder named htdocs. Directory: C:\Program Files\Abyss\htdocs
3. Make a folder in it called "nProtect."
4. Open "nProtect" and make a folder inside called GameGuard.
5. Open "GameGuard" and make a folder called RealServer.
6. Your directory should look like this : C:\Program Files\Abyss\htdocs\nProtect\GameGuard\RealServer\
7. Extract the rev 1021 contents into that directory.
8. Start Abyss Webserver.
9. In console, change to port to 6666 instead of 9999. Or skip this step if you do not get an error.
10. Make sure Abyss Webserver is working by clicking the abyss icon in your toolbar. If it's there, then it means you set up the server correctly.
11. Go to your host file located at C:\Windows\System32\Driver\etc
12. Open your host file and under "127.0.0.1 localhost," add 127.0.0.1 guard.gunbound.net."
13. Save your host file. And right click it. Choose properties. And tick read only above hidden. That will stop GameGuard from modifying it.
14. Delete your Rakion GameGuard folder.
15. Start Rakion. It will start to update very very fast, about 10 seconds.

EDIT: this does NOT work. rev 1021 files r hashed. i will try rev 1032 files if i can get my hands on them. if it works i'll upload it.

Yet another edit: Ignore what i said above. just use rev engine 7.2. it'll bypass rev 1039. so much easier >_>

you also can use xamp lite.
don't forget to backup your Rakion GameGuard folder

This isn't necessary with Rev 7.2

If you WANT to do this, feel free to, though. I just find it simpler to run the new Rev rather than do all this

first of all, u double posted. second of all GAMEGUARD is an anti hacking program. it does NOT effect gameplay, quests, items, etc. GAME PATCHES effect items, gameplay, quests, etc. Please get ur facts straight next time.

I didn't scan this, but I'm not using it. I don't think that if this file had a virus, it would do anything, as you aren't running anything. However, I'm not sure. USE AT YOUR OWN CAUTION
