im having a problem with the very first part, when you say to put localhost/localhost and such, when i hit test connection, it doesnt work. Any suggestions?

s4 the access level,did you put it on the server?
and not on the char?
it should be at the server,and if it is it's most likely a connection problem

rain check a few posts back,had the same problem and cloud replied with a fix right after it

Yes, the access level is on the servers. I couldn't log in, so i couldn't even even create a char.

How do i fix this connection problem?

Okay here is the problem first download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] it was in the problems and errors section but download that first.. skip everything until you get to a part where it asks for a password then put a password like root or something then use root as your password... in your world server.conf and other files you will have to put root in the password sections so for example in the world server.conf file it should look something like this...

mysql_user=root
mysql_pass= <---- instead of leaving this part blank you would change it to whatever you put as your password on mysql

mysql_port=3306
AutoQueryTime=600

[SERVERDATA]

servername=Dark

accesslevel=100

if you do that it should fix your problem

that helped for me when i had a problem at the "test connection" part

If you get the maintenance message use Hamachi to connect to the server or else use port forwarding

i port forwarded all used ports,and the server seems to work perfectly untill i have to select a channel,it just doesn't display any channels
no error or something,just an empty server list

i mean wen i extract the osrosesvn.sql it changes to notepad wen i look into the database folder wtf?
