| Registered User | For those who have problems with other people connecting: If no one else can connect to your server, and you are behind a router, use this: First of all, this is a pretty stupid mistake but it seems that a lot of people are looking over it: Whenever you forward ports, you need to forward ports 3306, 29000 29100 and 29200, however you may have forgotten to put your computer's IP address in. Start>Run>Cmd Type ipconfig, it should look like this: ![]() NOTE: I am not currently behind a router, anyways, look at the address beside the circled option (IP Address): It should be 192.168.1.X if you are on a router. Now, go to your router config (192.168.1.1 in browser) and go to where you forward ports, make sure you forwarded: 3306 29000 29100 29200 Finally, beside the ports there will be a 192.168.1.(input box)... remember that number from ipconfig I told you to find? Put the last part of it right there (for example, it could be 101 or 110). Also I hope you are smart enough to make sure all of them are enabled ^~ Lastly, that number may change depending on if you have more than 1-2 computors on your network and when you start them up, if you get the problem again just check the number again. I hope this guide helps you and if not, I am sorry for wasting your time. Last edited by kickstarta; 08-17-2008 at 08:05 AM.. |
