i changed the IP adress in my launcher (the lconfig file) to 127.0.0.1) and it works perfectly with my original settings...hope this helps....so again, it works for me now.

only problem i now have is "Trose.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"....any ideas?

theres some file that you didnt install right, like maybe the launcher or something isnt in the Rose folder, extract it there and the problem should be fixed.

thx to the guide on the private server, but i got a lil prob.

first problem: when i change 127.0.0.1 to my own IP, the world, char, and login server still saying its 127.0.0.1 so for now i connected on that ip.

second problem: when i testing my rose it works perfectely i just need the item code list, and heres the problem, when i make my website [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
i cant connect on my server now it says "The Server Is currently being Inspected?" so can you help me in that problem?
and how can i allow normal players to use /b and /class?

i wanna ask you something because i have something like that site bms 2 or something and if i have that i cant create the account it says something is wrong in de c:xammplite\htdocs\mudules\functions.php and i dont know what i need to change and now i dont have the site and changed the iconfig from the rose 139 139 i installed and i can login and can play the game but no one else can come in how do i fix this whole problem?? plz help me please!!
ps i cant find the accounts i made and cant make them GM where do i find them??

Solution: Port forward the port "80, 433" and instead of "http://localhost", use your WAN IP (which you can find here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ).if you can just do that for a website why do people pay for websites?

Hi, I'm new to this and I've followed the instructions. I'm stuck at the xampp_start.exe part. When it runs it aborts immediately.... something about can't find and serverroot much be a valid directory? I tried the 'localhost' page but it doesn't work. Says 'cannot find server'. The step I'm stuck at:

'After Xampplite is downloaded, install it. Now after it's installed, go to the Xampp folder, the default location is ( C:\xampplite ). Find "xampp_start.exe" and run it, if everything goes well then it should tell you it's a success. So now bring up your web browser and type in "http://localhost and if the xampp page comes up, then you installed it successfully!'

I downloaded Xampplite and it extracted. Then that's where I'm stuck at... What did I do wrong?

OK, I found that problem. I have a new one. How do i get rid of the "Server under maintenance"? I can't get into the game to try anything out cuz somehow it's under maintenance... How do I turn it off?

Server config files are on the rose server root folder.

Make sure the acess level of the config files is set to 100 and then check the ips (launcher too).

How to I change localhost so that others can view it? Like I know some ppl use their wan ip or something but how?
