}}How to Unset Recoveries{{

Well, since I haven't played Runescape in a very very long time now, I checked today how the recoveries go now.
I guess there is no ideal method since now they ask you, "Recover lost password" and "Recover stolen password."
Since we would want to remove the recoveries, you would choose the second option. Answer with as much detail
because now they crosscheck stuff, and the password should be changed and recoveries removed.

Quoted the old stuff.

This thread was deleted when the sections were being moved so I will rewrite it.

Here is a guide on how to unset recoveries:

1. Open a RuneScape client and go to "Recover a lost password".
2. Type in your username, and for the query, choose "Someone else knows my recovery questions".
3. Answer only 3 of your recovery questions correctly.
4. Continue giving as much info as possible like emails, previous passwords, etc.
5. Click Submit Details at the botton and copy the Tracking ID.
6. After about 2 days, go to the RS client and click on "Track a Recovery Request".

It should say "Accepted" and "Your password has been change to what you providing. Please use this time to add new recoveries."

Seeing how you want NO recoveries, you would not set new ones.

EDIT: UPDATE!
I just did a different method. I answered all 5 questions correctly, gave all info except for the first password, and it worked. So there are other methods.
