I would consider it fake because it's from "Jagex" and not from a person.

I have talked to many employees personally back in the old days so they recognize my name. I won't necessarily say that the message you received is fake, but rather I find it "odd".

I think it's fake.
1st Reason - From 'Jagex', not 'Mod Richard' for example
2nd Reason - A J Mod would not say an update is terrible in a message
3rd Reason - 5th paragraph, bad spelling mistake 'mini-fmingame', what the hell is that?
4th Reason - A J Mod would not give out a release date of such an update

My thoughts anyway,

Hmm...I take back what I said about the sender being called 'Jagex', I recently became a member, and the message I received saying that it had cleared was from 'Jagex', not a name...

I think its true, because of the gold crown, all moderators have gold crowns, but what exactly is the point that your trying to prove in this topic

It isn't that hard to fake a Jagex Gold Crown like there is in the picture, some people can fake the Runescape homepage. Anyway, we're trying to discuss whether the message/update that is in the first post is fake or real.
