Runescape Graphics

whats with the new runescape graphics, it sucks as hell. the bandos, fally wall, varrok ge wall, dragon kite, berserker sheild. they're all big but the graphics look like they're from tebetebies.. they;re horrible and doesnt look anywhere closely solid. even the symbol on the floor of the ge. i think they're trying to save cache space by degrading all graphics. right guys !!!!

The graphics have always been lame, but i agree with the new shields and how they look really big/puffy.

It's hard to pull off graphics using ONLY Java.

even so. lets be realistic here. you think an MMORPG as big as runescape would have made allot of changes for the better by now in their graphic field.

Normally, they would indeed.

Although, as Steve stated, there IS no way they could've gone any further with Java - not when it's browser-based. If they did, it would kill the portability, thus, killing the most important part of the game.

your right everybody but thats not what i meant, i meant the puffyness , the old graphics actually had real solid colors but now its all like weird .

hmmm i need to check that out. I just started playing runescape again so i can give the character im making away as a prize. I will check it out.

Although, wouldn't surprise me - When did Jagex ever do something right regarding RuneScape?
