well i gt bored nd no1 ever seems to post so i thought i'd step it up a lil
well as u all no that the 8th of may updates of the future is to b known as....
RUNESCAPE 3!
just wanted to no wot u all think of em
i think i will mayb play a lil more wen then come.

Sorry but Runescape 3? It's mostly just a massive scale minor graphical update. Unlike the release of Runescape 2 with like every single thing got upgraded.

To be honest, "RuneScape 3" won't exist until they finally make a client for RuneScape that actually uses the potential of video cards.

However, I do like the idea of fullscreen, but not enough to make me play agian.

There will be a runescape 3 when they figure out that their not BOLD just because they were the first RPG to stop gold trading..Jagex could have stopped it if they sold it them selves.

The only problem with selling it themselves, it that richer players would have an unfair advantage about money over the less wealthy players. Anyway, I want to see what the updates will look like once they're finished. The preview looked OK...

I have to admit, I will give it a shot when they release this "sequel".

However, I still think they should make use of the video cards we have these days, and make a WoW-like client, or even better, something that required dual-cores and higher. THAT would be awesome.

There will be NO Runescape 3. Their current game engine is good enough to support any future updates they will do. Runescape 3 will NEVER come out, Jagex even said so themselves. Currently the new "Runescape of the future" is just updated graphics, but it's still going to be Runescape 2.
