Arab is specific and when a majority of people hear "asian" they think of china, jap, korea and some of the neighboring countries with similar ethnic appearance. Its the same as saying I don't like rednecks, then with your comment, because I'm American, you don't like me too. It's just a group of people in a bigger area, which doesn't necessarily mean he has something against everyone else in the bigger area.
