How to merch with GE

ok so every1 is whining becuz of new updates and i cant merch blah blah blah... thats not true. first off ill tell you my prices here are made up and i dont have screen shots because i dont feel like giving away wat items are really good to merch.

See you have to think of the grand exchange like a stock market, you invest in the product and hope thats its value goes up. Since Jagex updates there prices almost daily you need to look at the price of the item you want to buy and try to figure out an average price. And since the updates are based on demand for an item all you have to do is buy when the prices are low and sell when it is hitting an incline. An example might explain this better.

For instance, i notice that on my first day coal sells for 170gp-190gp (made up) then the next day i see it declined to 140-160gp (also made up). Because of this i see that the average price will be in the 155-170 range. Now that i know this price if i see coal at say 130 gp each i will invest in 10k coal for 1.3mil. Then a couple days later i see that coal is up to 180gp each. So i take that coal and i go sell it for 1.8mil and i have just turned 500k. Since this process is long it best to invest in a good quantity of products and it also heps to invest in 1 or more item at a time.

Or you could invest enough money in something small that sells a lot(such as rune ess) and buy so much at a time that you will be the only one getting any making the demand go up, meaning rise in price. You can then sell after you are done raising the price for more that you bought it for.

Well you're not really telling us how to merchant then are you...What's the point of saying how to do it, and not even say what items it is good to do with?

Also, the prices in the game do not vary like you have given an example of. No way does coal cost 130gp each one day, and then 180gp each the next. It is possible, but would take a week, not a day.
