How to Set-up your own runescape private server.

How To Create A Runescape Private Server using PICs
CHAPTER 1:

First off we need a server source

If you want a moparscape Source click the foloing
MOPARSCAPE SOURCES-

FOR SILABS SOURCES CLICK THE FOLOING

We may also need Moparscape v3.2:

NEXT PORT FOWARDING-FOR PEOPLE CONNECTION
GO TO YOUR COMMAND CONSOLE
start>all.programs>accesories>CommandPrompt

once in command prompt type in "ipconfig"
Look for your DNS Gateway
EXAMPLE-
IP Address:192.168.1.102
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
DNS Gateway:192.168.1.1

Take the Gateway put in your Webaddress
A box should come up Username and password
many passwords and users
for linksys ull only need to type admin for password
for anything else type in admin for both or try combinations.

Then you'll need to port foward find where you enter a port tab-
Such as Virtual Servers. Apps And Gaming. etc.

Name: "RSPriv"
IP address: "PUT YOUT IP ADDRESS FROM YOUR CMD BOX HERE"
TCP Ports to open: 43594
UDP Ports to open: 43594
Inbound Filter: Allow All
Schedule: Always


Then save it. Okay now you can save settings after the rule is saved. Every router is different. Don't forget to check the link I offered to help you with your routers!

Now your server rule is nice and good. Now we need Java to get your server's compiler and run server to work. You can download the newest Java at this link:

NOTICE:You may have to be a member to download this file! Don't worry it's free! Oh and if you don't want to put any personal details in then lie! It's simple!:

Now, click JDK 6u3 Download (Click the latest one, in this case it's JDK6u3 but it may be updated now)



After this, it will come up with a security warning:



Click yes to it. Now you want to agree to the terms and conditions:



You will now get another security box (shown above), just click yes to that again. Now, download the Windows Offline Installation for Multiple Languages (if you are not using Windows, then try downloading the offline installations for some other Download.)


Now the download window will come up. Just click Run and wait for it to end downloading. Then install it and everything should work.




Okay, before we can fix the compiler and runserver, we need to set out variables. Fastest way to do this is:
Start Menu> (Right Click) My Computer > Properties

Ok now find the variable called "path" in the list in that new screen open. Rename it to "PATH" and then for it's variable value (erase old one):
C:Windows\System32\;
And add this

You will also need to set a variables called "classpath". Make a new variable and give it the name classpath. No add this in for it's value:

MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD JDK 1.6.03 OR ELSEE!!!!!!!




Ok now go into your server source (if you don't have a rar uncompressor you can download WINRAR) at this link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Ok now you can right click the compressed source and click "extract here"),
and now when in your server source, right click compile.bat and click "edit". Then erase everything in it and put this in it's place:

Ok now save it and right click runserver.bat and erase all of that and add this:

Ok now we have a working source!

CHAPTER 2

Ok this is fairly simple how to set up a no-ip for your server. Go to no-ip:

First of all, log in:



If you do not have an account, register one.


After that, click the 'add' button on the side panel as shown below:





Now fill out the appropriate fields:



As you can see, add in the name you need. Now choose the redirect address. After that, add in your external IP address with is shown at the upper left-hand side of the screen. When you are done with that, click the 'Create Host' button. If you are port forwarded (if you have a router), then this should work. Enjoy!

if so they copied me cause i posted this about 5months ago on a couple of sites... just bringing it back

ok this time is different, i did everything. but i have errors, first off the compiler didn't work so i changed it to the already made compiler in a different section, tho it said compiler successful
but i didn't see any files moved to the folder.

also when i try and run the runserver.bat all i get is 0.0.0.0:43594 why doesn't it connect to me and work......
HELP!!

at the compiler: note: stream.java uses or overrides a deprecated api.
note: recompile with -xlint:deprecation for details...
and at the runserver : starting w0uhascape server on 0.0.0.0:43594
config/objects.cfg: file not found.
please help me.

Wouhaa, you're compile "error" isn't an error, it means everything compiled as it should, and you run error means....in your server folder, there should be a folder called config, with the objects.cfg file in it.

you did it fine but it dont connect to you smart one.. u connect to it by going to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and putting in 0.0.0.0 as the ip and logging in if you still have problems GTFO the forums.. common sense much??

Very funny mopar is older then 5 months they had this posted before you so don't lie you probly leached this but nice anyways so many of these posted to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]... DON'T CLAIM WHATS NOT YOURS im here to fix or make better GP RS P Server community :)
