How to get IP Address of SoF

well, i saw a lot of posts asking this one, and also saw some posts with IP Address of specific server (ex. US server) and I thought of making a general information about it.

This information is for members to know how to get the IP Address of SoF they are playing. There is no additional tools that is needed, this can be done on your MS DOS mode (Command Prompt) using Netstat. I will also be including information on how to get IP Address and Port using Packet Sniffer like WPE.

GET IP Address using NETSTAT

Netstat (network statistics) is a command-line tool that displays network connections (both incoming and outgoing), routing tables, and a number of network interface statistics.

How to get Master (Login) IP Addrss of SoF:
1. Launch and Login to SoF
2. ALT Tab then click START, select RUN, type CMD on the box then click OK

Note: this will open the Command Prompt (C:\)

3. On the Command Prompt, type "netstat -n" without quotes
4. Locate the the one that as a PORT number 15XXX (XXX varies from 001-101)
5. Get the IP Address aligned to the one that has 15XXX Port number.

Continue to get Character/Server IP Address of SoF:
1. Select any of the servers (Earth-X) then click CONNECT
2. ALT Tab then do the Netstat command
3. Locate the the one that as a PORT number 15XXX (XXX varies from 001-101)
4. Get the IP Address aligned to the one that has 15XXX Port number.

Continue to get Map (server) IP Address:
1. Select any Character then press OK
2. press ALT Tab then do the Netstat command
3. Locate the the one that as a PORT number 15XXX (XXX varies from 001-101)
4. Get the IP Address aligned to the one that has 15XXX Port number.

GET IP Address using WPE

How to get Master (Login) IP Address of SoF:
1. Launch SoF
2. ALT Tab then open your WPE
a. Click VIEW then select OPTIONS
b. Select WINSOCK 2.0 instead of WINSOCK 1.1
c. Uncheck the 2 boxes for RECEIVE, just check the ones that are for SEND

Note: You will need a bypass on XTrap and a rootkit (trojan/virus) like HackDef to hide the process of WPEPro.exe (correct me if the filename is wrong)

3. Click PLAY on WPE
4. Sign on to SoF using your username and password.
5. ALT TAB to WPE then click the STOP button.
6. On the packet window, you will see the IP Address where you are sending the packet to plus the Port (correct on the port part, cos i dont remember, im at work right now, hehe)

Continue to get Character/Server IP Address of SoF:
1. ALT TAB to WPE then click PLAY
2. Select any of the Servers (Earch-X) then press CONNECT
3. ALT TAB to WPE then click STOP
4. On the packet window, you will see the IP Address where you are sending the packet to plus the Port (correct on the port part, cos i dont remember, im at work right now, hehe)

There you go... if I missed something or have the information messed up, please feel free to correct me. Comments and additionals will also be welcomed.
