| Registered User | WPE Pro Hi all, im trying to install WPE Pro but i still get my norton anti virus telling me its a trojan, i do have it disabled but it still does it, please anyone no how to get around this? TY Cording |

(try google) What you may want to try is this. Disable Norton first Re-download WPE Try to extract/install That may work... Depends.... Norton is picky... hehe... NOTE: When you reenable norton it will pick it up and do its stuff to it, rendering WPE useless. (along with its zip, hense why i said to redownload it) Hope that helps, if not sorry. | Registered User | Re: WPE Pro im not sure if Norton has this capability, but im using Kaspersky and I was able to allow WPE and useful rootkits with it... try this, when Norton detects and cleans/deletes the file(s), go to Norton's events section and right click on the WPE files (.exe & .dll) and see if there is an option to exclude it from virus scanning and/or cleaning/deleting well, just a thought |
