First off, I would like to say thanks for your bots and contributions to this community of sof players. Can you please help us solve pursuited's helpful item ids puzzle? We can use these ids to trick the server into believing that we sold the item to the npc - and therefore getting money. I think it is possible since the town teleport tricks the server into thinking that the player died. However, it is not that easy to place the item into your inventory. The hard part is how to modify the item codes pursuited gave us so that we can send the packets to the server and get the money. I will dedicate all of tommorow to figuring out a way to do it, otherwise i have 3 options: 1)rely on you/pursuited/others to help through pure kindness 2)sell my armor since I lost my weapon while putting essence (i am level 48 archer and have $25,000 in game) 3) quit the game forever since I can't level or earn money without a weapon (unless i want to fight lower level mobs with fists and make 76 gold a kill while taking 10minutes and many pots). er.... i think u can buy bow in CV man... no need to be very good but at least u can still use skill to hit mons..... u can try hunchback(can't remember how to spell) or bigfist and u could earn some more money in the progress~

Try to get it so that an item is displayed in an npc is not what it is.

Example:
Blacksmith in CV sells the short bow
Make it so that the blacksmiths short bow shows up as something else...

When we are all the same page, i will continue.

For those that have done this:

Here is the next challange. Make your inventory display a shortbow as something else.

u need to know how to set up the filters the right way.

(im setting thiese chalanges up for you because it will prepare you and get you in the right direction towards what you can do with this)

I see. So by making the short bow appear to be a cheap item such as a pot, we can buy the short bow for the price of the pot? Or do we make an expensive item appear (like an item we get from player's stores such as a 20% charm) and somehow place it in our inventory? I am confused about the next challenge - what is the purpose of making our inventory display the shortbow as something else such as a least expensive item like a pot or a very expensive item like an essence gem? Hey pursuited, I tried to do what you said but I can't seem to get the item ids from the blacksmith. I purchased a short bow and I got the following code:

I know that the 42 91 DA 17 represents the bow and that I bought it, but what is the actual buy code? Is it the buy code:

No matter what I did, I could not find all of the item IDs from the blacksmith chan. I followed your instructions and when i recorded the packets, I only got the 12 and 28 lines codes listed above. When I bought the items, I only got the item id of the bought item, not the entire blacksmith inventory item codes. Can you please help? Thanks.

@pursuited ok i decided to try out... i press "play" den i tok to blacksmith den select buy/sell option den press "stop" i got three packet but none of it match the code that u have posted in #1

i tried sending every single packet first one it open out the option box
second packet it open out the store which allow me to buy thing...
third packet nothing happen...

i can't seem to find the ItemID

i miss out wad step? or u have any tut site for wpe? i try to figure it coz i know nothing about the filter and offset

Thanks but I only get the 28 lines and the 12 lines codes to open the shop, not the actual long inventory itself. Do we have to enable something in WPE? What is the buy code? I used the open shop code and i get the error "you are not part of this faction", so i cannot buy pots while fighting elsewhere. Thanks a lot.
