My friend is going through the same thing as do i once in a while. What happens is that for some reason it will connect for 1 second then freeze up. What I advise you to do is completely close out HotCrazy, re-open it, switch to different earths and login. Sometimes it may take a minute or 2 so dont keep disconnecting! Untill you see this:

........You are not "really" connected.

I finally got the bot to invite. As odd as this may sound it was the order I was putting the names in the top box that the bot could party with and accept invites from. Also, make sure you add your name to it as well since the the botted character itself is in the party. 1 problem is now solved but it brought up another problem.

The non-leader of the party will teleport back to town in about 5-7 minutes after I start to fight mobs. I have tried changing leaders, making both characters members, tried single attack, follow attack, no attack.. nothing works. I have only figured out what 25% of the party config is and really need someone to translate the whole thing.. here's what I have so far..

There are 2 different, one is connecting one is connected,
those people who cant move there character is because it is connecting, it connects and disconnects and connects and disconnects and so on....
the picture xenmyst post is the right one that say connected then you can move and attack and do whatever you order to do

Are you using a different version than the one from the thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] From the looks of it - that is version 1.70 (and it tells you that 1.71 is available). The one in the thread says 1.68 in the title, whereas I can not get that red row. I connect to server and click the 3rd button to re-connect without disconnecting instantly. After that I'm connected to server, and mobs and players are moving - but as for others it does not move and the red row never shows up.

My best guess is we shouldnt be forced to press the 3rd menu button as it seems to disable that red row thingy, that seems to be validation to the hotcrazy server.

Do you know if there is any way to configure the time it tries to connect to that server? I looked through all your translations I could find, but didnt find any setting for just that. It keeps just trying for some 2-3 seconds before giving that error you commented on. The post above tells us to wait for 1-2 minutes for it to connect. I tried setting all the intervals/delays to 10 times their original in Options.ini - but still no luck. Thankful for any hints.

i cant understant....how im not connected if the green dots still moving when my char still locked?really cant understand o.O

hey red...look to it...how im not connected if i can read the ppls chat?and the dots are4 moving but the BLUE DOT is not moving and its me =/

My guess is the first 4 lines in the log is "Logging in to game, Connecting to game server". 5th line that you cancel with pressing the third menu button seems to be "Connecting to bot server". When you re-connect at that time my guess is you cancel your bot-server request. The red line, stating most recent and current version of the bot seems to be the confirmation that you are connected to the bot server.

So yes, you are (obviously) connected to the game server but most probably not to the bot server.
