[Guide] How to install and play the Chinese SoF Private Server

Doh.
Haven't been able to get on teh intarnetz for a while.

Anyway, I believe Sauooh is blocking people outside of China.
I can't seem to connect anymore either.

I'll delete it. At the moment all I have is Xwwl that works and is virus-free. All the other servers I've tried are...virus-infected.

so in other words, we can't play anymore?

ZZZZZZ when i click on a monster it takes like 5 secs to attack ><" i have mass delay HELP!!!

Nothing I can do. Not my server, so...what can I do?

EDIT: Edited guide to add one more server. This server doesn't seem to lag either...

For some reason on both sites, i fill in all the boxes for the registration and when i press the button a window pops ups with boxes [][][] etc...
i followed the steps but idk what to do
can you help me?

That should happen.
As long as there's 4 boxes for MMRXJH and about 6/7 or so for XWWL, that's fine.

Make sure you actually choose the right server on the launchers too.

Ah~, first, thank you very much for this link to Yulgang private server although it's in Chinese, my oponion is it's so awesome, faster than the original online one over 9,000 times but the server is a little lag (much sometimes like while killing monster, everything stops for a while and when it gets back, the character dies of course and when we get to high lvl, it'll get slower a lot so I think that *300 exp is slow, (Compare to original, this wins) but there are those private servers for the other games that makes me think *1,000 exp is being ok but they mostly recommend *500 exp, well, I'm glad that I know about this, of course, it's thanks to you and that *1,000 exp unknown server that just came, it's great! Thx again. Oh, I learnt Chinese more than three years but I still can't talk to the real Chinese people in sentence but I learn playing this Chinese version by action. :)

"Installing"

Step 1: Extract the files in "Folder.rar" into a SEPARATE folder. (So like...C:\My Docs\SOF PSERVER).
Step 2: If playing MMRXJH, Extract that into where you extracted "Folder.rar"

Playing

If you look into your folder, you'll find you have client, datas, Xwwl, Sauooh and MMRXJH (if playing).
Double click the server you want (Sauooh is currently defunctional) and you should get 5 dots with XWWL (subject to change) and 4 with MMRXJH (subject to change).

Registering

To be able to play, you need to register.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

PAGE LAYOUT

Username: (4-8 characters)
PW: (8-12 characters)
Confirm PW: (Same as above)
ID Card Number: (Put 123456789876543)
Gender: (Left = Male, Right = Female)
Real Name: (Put 123)
Question: (Put 123)
Answer: (Put 123)
Server Selection Box: (3rd Option) - Not MMRXJH
Confirmation: (Put whatever is in that box) - Not MMRXJH
[Button - Press this after completing the registration form]

After signing up for each, the 4th dot is the server you want on the launcher for XWWL (subject to Change) and the 3rd dot for MMRXJH (Subject to change). IF you cannot connect to these servers, do the registration AGAIN but with a different option on the server selection box. - MMRXJH will be guaranteed correct server

Well there we go. Tell me if something is confusing.

If in DIRE help, add [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to your MSN / YIM. DO NOT ADD ME IF IT'S JUST A REGISTRATION PROBLEM (unless you get an error page).

Ah, that got you and me, too. As you think, normally, if we finish the registration and they're alright, it'll mostly say registration complete and go to homepage automatically but I just got that, that sign of weird letter of the complete registration and it deletes all of your detail except some of them like ID, that would make you think that the registration error, right? I got that all the time and I try like over 9,000 times until I give up so I get into the game and type the ID and PW that looks like it's error while thinking that it'll probably say, there is not this ID or wrong PW of course but After I enter it, I know at once that the one looks like an error is a complete sign so after registing and it shows like an error, just put your ID and PW that you use in the registration form and enter the game!, enjoy. :)

Oh, I'll tell you something, "Even your computer is like 4GB Ram with very highspeed internet, it'll still lag, because there're some problem within the server so don't worry, the problem isn't your computer or internet, the owner of the server can't make the server perfect but it's fine, right?
PS if your computer and internet are slow, too, that's gonna be a pain in the ass. :)

hey when i double click on the launcher for Xwwl one. it comes up and these windows pop up and one says 'Operation Time out' and then the other window is there with a globe icon and looks like its downloading something but nothing moves.

I can't help you with that Celent.
That's a problem with your internet connection I believe.

If no dots come up, I can't help you. :/
