Release english patch for private server

last file i posted was a virus u got no reason to trust me but idc

i was playing and i got sick of the ****ing commands bing in chinese i wanted to leave my house but i couldnt get my computer to type chinese in the client i could everywhere else but the client only got ????s so imade an english patch i am posting the command and item name patch now if u want a UI patch i can make 1 but its eassy enought to just do it ur self

*house commands
*chat commands
*Gem (inventory distcription)
*Amymethists (fire,water,psn,ect)
*NPC buttons
*Ass stats
*Pot/ginseng message
*window messages (login,trade,pt,guild,ect)

Does your house list still show up though?
I've learned how to make some english by using the YB files except the YBi file in the chinese folder and well...I got a few bugs.

I'll test this.

EDIT: Just as I thought. You've done exactly as I've done except put the files into and installation files.

I'm not going to use this because with the english, house lists DO NOT show.
So ... if you still wish to use your house list, don't use this patch unless you need to leavehouse or something.

EDIT 2: I would advise you to install everything for the new pserver twice, but in the 2nd installation, put the english patch in for when you need to use commands like /leavehouse.

I think I'll say thanks for joo anyways. And I found out how to do this yesterday anyway. Messing around with Client files ftw.

EDIT 3: This patch also doesn't have a virus inside it like some of patrat's things because all the installation file has is just .cfg files from the V2.0 English Scions of Fate client folder.

You can look for the files yourself if you wish.
They just all start with YB. Just if you feel safer using your own files, don't use the YBi file as the chinese needs the chinese YBi file.

Do these files work with the old private server? Because the files inside the englishpatch are from the V2 English client.

I accidently used the englishpatch on the V180 client by accident anyway.

It does work.
Unless your englishpatch has the files from the english interface folder, it wouldn't work. The UI itself is picture files which are loaded up inside the game.

dude thank you so much but i'm having a bit of a problem i'm lvl 10 and trying to get my 1st promo 1. is it at lvl 10? and 2. most of the quests i click on wont work which means the promo quest might not either any ideas man?

edit: where do i put the file?

Get the .rar file, extract it to anywhere and then install the patch into the folder where you installed all the files.

1st Promotion is a level 10 and all you have to do is click the quest (old) or accept the quest (new), but if you know Scions of Fate, you should already know that. If you don't know much about SoF, I'd advise you to play the US version for a bit.
And quests aren't meant to work.
