| Registered User | Sacred Warrior Since no one has written any guide on Huskar, i will have the privilege of doing so. Actually i've randomed Huskar quite a number of times when i was playing on Battlenet, and surprisingly i top the kills quite a number of times and my team owned. I thought huskar sucked at first because all of his skills require HP reduction in order to inflict damage on opponent heroes. Actually he's one of the simplest heroes to use and the items are really easy to buy because based on his High self-inflicted damage, he needs no other than Strength items and Lots of HP. Overview -Intro -Hero abilities -Skill Build -Item Build -Explanations -Final Item build -How to Use -Allies & Foes -Replay INTRODUCTION HUSKAR - The Sacred Warrior ![]() The Trolls of the Darkspear tribe, long since exiled from their ancestral lands in Stranglethorn Vale, are considered by many to be the most savage race of creatures to ever grace the battlefield. This reputation is well earned by their Sentinel representative Huskar, who's abilities revolve around shortening his own lifespan to spear his foes to burning pieces. Considered a blessed martyr by his people, the Sacred Warrior is not afraid of death, and will even run towards it willingly, sometimes desperately, in order to bring the Undead Scourge to an end. SKILL BUILD -Eventhough Huskar is a simple to use hero, but there are a lot of ways to play him 1) Skill build (Farming/ Early-Defensive/ Support-gank Huskar) Level 1- Burning Spear (1) Level 2- Inner Vitality (1) Level 3- Inner Vitality (2) Level 4- Berserker’ Blood (1) Level 5- Inner Vitality (3) Level 6- Life Break Level 7- Inner Vitality (4) Level 8- Berserker’s Blood (2) Level 9- Berserker’s Blood (3) Level 10- Berserker’s Blood (4) Level 11- Life Break Level 12- Stats Level 13- Stats Level 14- Stats Level 15- Stats Level 16- Life Break Level 17-22- Stats Level 23-25- Burning Spear 2) Skill build (Insane Attacking Huskar)- Might get yourself killed easily even though you can kill heroes early Level 1- Burning Spear (1) Level 2- Berserker’s Blood (1) Level 3- Burning Spear (2) Level 4- Berserker’s Blood (2) Level 5- Inner Vitality (1) Level 6- Life Break Level 7- Berserker’s Blood (3) Level 8- Burning Spear (3) Level 9- Inner Vitality (2) Level 10- Berserker’s Blood (4) Level 11- Life Break Level 12- Inner Vitality (3) Level 13- Inner Vitality (4) Level 14- Burning Spear (4) Level 15- Stats Level 16- Life Break Level 17-25 – Stats ITEM BUILD Item Build (first six slots) 1) Circlet of Nobility x 2 2) Gauntlet of Strength x 2 3) 2 tangos Further build 1) 2 Bracers 2) Power Treads 3) 2 more Bracers 4) Vanguard 5) Messerschmidt’s Reaver + Vitality Boosterà Heart of Tarrasque 6) Messerschmidt’s Reaver + Vitality Boosterà Heart of Tarrasque 7) Hyperstone 8) Ultimate Orb (option – If you’re farming really well, try to go for Skadi, Instead of Linken’s Sphere because in late game you won’t need Burning Spear anymore, instead frost will be more useful, plus the additional 25 to all stats.) 9) Crystalys + Demon Edge à Buriza-do-kyanon 10) Plate+chain mailà Assault Cuirass Explanations Huskar’s Ulti has a very low cool-down of 45seconds and of all the skills he only needs 170 mana for his Inner vitality. Therefore normally I do the insane thing. I get 4 hearts of Tarrasque (which for about 50 minutes I managed to get 3 Heart of Tarrasque, and a Hyperstone.) That makes up around 5000 HP, and to calculate his 40% life break is around 2000damage. However because there are armour reduction, and spell-reductions, probably might make it to around 1500 damage minimum. However, because I want to make things more interesting, sometimes I play Huskar with Eye of Skadi. In Late game, Burning Spear is practically useless because of the minimal damage it does and it doesn’t have any other effects besides life a very little life reduction which can be offset by the high HP regen in late game. Skadi gives 25 to overall stats, and frost damage. It’s very cool because it slows enemies while they are trying to run away after they were hit by your ulti. Why Buriza do Kyanon? Remember. As far as the skill Berserker Blood is concerned, 25% of Huskar’s HP is used to damage opponent by 40% by Life Break. For instance you have only 2 heart of tarrasque and a Buriza. 2 Hearts tally up to around 4400 HP or so do speak. That makes up around 1760 damage by Ulti. If the hero has around 2500HP, almost ¾ of the HP is gone. Lets Say after deducted spell reduction and armor, it gives around 1500 damage. Enemy hero is left with 1000HP. The 7 max bonus rule gives Huskar an additional 56damage plus the Initial damage that might add up to a possible 200 total damage. If Buriza is used, a possible 400 damage can kill the enemy hero in a few shots. Why Cuirass? To help reduce armor, and which is normally the last item to buy since Hyperstone can only be mixed and matched to complete the final item which is Cuirass. Final Item Build (Farming/ Early-defensive/ Support-Gank Huskar) 1) Heart2) Heart3) Boots of Travel4)Assault Cuirass 5) Buriza do Kyanon6) Eye of Skadi/ Linken’s SphereOR Final Item Build (Insane Attacking Huskar) 1) Heart2) Heart3) Heart4) Heart/ Black King Bar5) Boots Of Travel6)Cuirass How to Use Huskar The reason why I separate this section with item build is so that you wont get confused with the usage and farming process. Anyway, like I mentioned earlier, there are two types of huskars. The defensive/ farming type and also the Insane-charging type. Why do I build the Defensive Huskar that way? Level 1 Burning Spear is enough to harass Enemy heroes, while Inner Vitality and Berserker’s Blood is good for Regenerating and IAS+Damage respectively. Therefore, this way nobody dares to mess with the bad guy. However, Spamming Burning spears early in the game is a good way to harass enemy heroes. Once your HP goes lower than 40%, use Inner Vitality to regenerate, and start farming while spamming. When you almost reach Level 6, make sure your HP is full, e.g. about level 6, huskar with 2 bracers and a BoS is around 1100 HP. Therefore he can inflict 440 damage with his Life Break Ultimate. It will damage enemy, Best ones are agility and Intelligent heroes because during Level 6 they might not reach 900HP yet. Therefore, Use both burning spear to keep spearing and Inner Vitality to keep your health at par. Level 6 usually you can take a hero down already. Why Attacking Huskar the other way? During Early level, a head-on attack on hero will leave you very vulnerable and prone to quick death. Therefore Instead of getting tangos, get a Sapphire Flask to regenerate 400 HP. Use your burning spears to keep hitting on heroes. Remember don’t auto-casting because you still need to last-hit and last-hitting with your burning spear on a creep on waste your own health. As the level goes up, alternate with berserker’s blood. This gives rise to more IAS and damage because this 2 skills go really well together as Berserker’s Blood compensate for the loss of HP by Burning Spear by inflicting more damage and IAS. If you’re lane with melee or Agi/Int Heroes, it’s a good thing for you because they normally have very low HP. If Melee Hero charged over and try to hit you, just hug tower. Stay behind your creeps to spam your burning spears because you cant let enemy heroes touch you since you’re damaging them with your own life. When you almost reach level 6, make a trip back to fountain, or get your chicken to deliver Flasks to you. The best thing should be A bottle. Because your spamming will leave enemies to back to their fountain more often. Get ready a full HP and you can start killing insanely. Use your Ulti as a first hit. And start throwing burning spears until they die, because the more HP you lose, the higher your attack damage. While doing that, use your inner vitality to boost your HP regeneration. But watch your HP. If it’s lower than 300, go back. Depends on what hero you’re going against. Allies and Foes Allies Best Allies – Lanaya - Trap Naix – Slow And other practically other Stunner and disablers (who doesn’t like them, right?) Worst Foes Stunners and Disablers (Rhasta, Lion, SandKing, etc) Once you ulti, they have really strong Ulti and Stun, you can just forget about hitting the other hero that got ulti-ed and run away. Huskar’s best Skill is his Ulti. However Enemies that have Blink (e.g. Anti-Mage, Chaos Knight, Akasha, etc..) sometimes waste his ulti-cum-HP after cast, they blink away. The other one should be Heroes with Windwalk and Invisibility (e.g. Bone Fletcher, Rikimaru, etc.), which is not as bad because you can buy Sentry Wards or Gem of True Sight. | Registered User | Re: Sacred Warrior Yesterday i just randomed Huskar. I was Godlike once again playing the same style but unfortunately i couldn't upload the replay as i was playing in Chinatown's CC.. Finished the game in 40 mins with 2 Hearts, 1 Vanguard, 2 Bracers, 1 Power Treads. I killed around 15 times (the highest in the game), and died twice (early in the game because i was spamming the wrong hero = Silencer) and his first skill killed me coz i didnt have enough mana after that. LOL. |

| Registered User | Re: Sacred Warrior Thanks for the tips Niaxrulez, actually i was reminded of that, that's why i posted in BKB. But BKB is not as good as HoT, so most likely i would get another Heart in the expense of BKB |

| Registered User | Re: Sacred Warrior 4 HoT won't win a game since your ASPD is to low. The new STR Treads are created by god himself for Huskar. I guess Treads + 3 to 5 Bracer should do the early-midgame. If your enemies aren't harassing you can rush for a BKB. Then you should go for 1 HoT, then if you haven't one get BkB. Then HoT or ASPD. I prefer the new Claw thing with Unholy Strenght. If you have a Disabler in your team you can buy massHoTs. Items STR Treads Claw thing HoT BKB Imo quite a solid corebuild. --- 2 HoT / Skadi / Assault Cuirass / MKB / Satanic / Divine (Btw. Skadi + Necro 3 can really dominate a public game) |
