Quote:
Introduction Lina is basically a low hp hero who likes woopin ass of creeps all the time and would definitely strike the blade out of you if you don't pay attention to your HP, in Leyman's terms, you're noob pros: High Damaging Skills Stunning Skill K.O. combo cons: Low HP Slow Move Speed Splits Legs when she dies ^^ Skill Build This is the chronological order of skills that you should consider puttin on skill points as you gain experience move throughout the game: 1. Light Strike Array 2. Dragon Slave 3. Light Strike Array 4. Dragon Slave 5. Light Strike Array 6. Laguna Blade 7. Light Strike Array 8. Dragon Slave 9. Dragon Slave 10. Attribute Bonus 11. Laguna Blade 12. - 15. Attribute Bonus 16. Laguna Blade 17. - 21. Attribute Bonus 22. - 25. Ultimate Evaluation In this Lina skill build, we focus our attention to her second skill "Light Strike Array" which later would be pertained as LSA, it is used for farming and also for its stunning abilities which will help you a lot in many different situations The first skill or the "Dragon Slave" (DS) has the same level 4 damage like LSA but has more damage in its early levels, you would like to spam this skill as many times as you could b'coz in some certain occassions, it hits the enemy heroes as well as the creeps, it has the dual purpose of creep farming and hero harrassing why not ultimate??? well for starters, lina's ultimate is a waste of skill points coz it only adds up to your IAS 50% max level, you would like to max out lina's mana pool for she is an int hero, not agi, ints do a lot of spells and it would very much siut her if she has max mana The Items: These are the fountain trips, aranged in chronological order of returns to the base/well (if the team has no chicken) first lvl1-lvl7: Boots of Speed, Mantle of Intelligence, Sobi Mask note: Lina has very los move speed (-MS) so you would like to have it fixed with a Boots but not upgrade it to threads as you would be wasting an awful lot of money, save it for late game for Boots of Travel second lvl8-lvl12: Upgrade Mantle to Null Talisman + Ring of Basilius note: Null is only bought only for the mana not for the damage so if you have the opportunity try buying point booster, it is much preferable b'coz it has a dual purpose for Skadi or Soul/Aghanim'sScepter tip: try pushing a lot, spam you first and second skills on enemy creeps to wipe them out as quickly as possible so that ally creeps can go right through third lvl13-lvl16: Void Stone, Point Booster fact: at this point you should have enough mana pool to spam your first and second skills to creeps waves to gain maximum gold from creeps so it won't be hard for you to gain 2100+++ gold by this level in between: surely there are some cases that you would have to go home unexpectedly and survive from a backstab attempt as they would target you first b'coz of your low HP and armor vulnerability, upgrade your void to Eul's Scepter of Divinity fourth lvl17-lvl20: now this would be your turning point, if you want to make Skadi, that's fine, since you're now an excellent farmer, you would have no problems building it, if you'd like Aghanim's Scepter, that's good to, but I suggest you get that as early as the second and third returns, then upgrade Eul's to Guinsoo Schythe of Vyse fifth lvl21-lvl25: it's nearly the end for all of you as you would now have full levels and sick items, anything would do from this point on, maybe a couple of Aegis, Some of These and That, surely it would be a sitch Final Items Should be: 1. Boots of Travel, Guinsoo Scythe of Vyse, Aegis of Immortal, Aghanim's Scepter 2. Boots of Travel, Guinsoo Scythe of Vyse, Aegis of Immortal, Eye of Skadi Quote:
Before I teach you those, I want you to be sure where the hotkey's on the keyboard are located, once you've learned it, let's move on The technique with Lina is to spam skills as many times as you want, if you calculated your opponent's hp is below 800 and you are already lvl7, this would be a great opportunity for you to kill, first be sure that your fingers are on the right positions: Index Finger = T ****ing Finger = D I did not put another finger on LaGuna Blade b'coz it is just under T and it would be just easy to slide my finger there When you are sure about the enemy hp, this is what you have to do, toggle T in the ground where you think your enemy is going to be next, immediately toggle D after that then point on G onto him for a sure kill Heroe's to be afraid of: Rhasta = Ward Trapping Bradwarden = High HP, Stunning Bane Elemental = He Grips then you die Magina = surely you know Great allies to team up: the most common stunners and hexers with the traps and all that Analysis: The greatest heroes that oughta be your allies are also the ones you oughta be afraid of.... Final Words: Lina: Kill me and I'd let you se my ****** -------------------------------------------------- Also please visit my ![]() [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Last edited by poco_loco; 09-02-2006 at 05:26 AM. | |||

| Registered User | Re: Lina Inverse, Slayer Summary Guide On a one on one basis, lina is better thatn luna But if you are thinking about mass pawnage, luna is better It depends actually on your play style, if you want to be the assassinator or the mass pawner who gets IN the battle |

| Registered User | Re: Lina Inverse, Slayer Summary Guide One on one, either one would win. It's hard to say. If both players are on the same level, still, the outcome can be either one of them. It's close call. It depends on who pressures more and how you plan to kill. Remember, try taking the first step into killing. Do not wait for the enemy to take the first step, never. If Lina is able to stun properly and only misses 2 out of 10 tries, then you're in for luck. And if you're capable of getting a scepter, go for it. One strike Laguna might even manage to kill Luna. However, if Luna has a blink dagger, and is clever enough to take chances when you're alone, then Luna has the better chance. If you're using Luna against Lina, get a blink dagger, and get observer wards. Put them in between the 1st and 2nd tower of the enemies if you're on the scourge side. That would make things alot easier. So I suggest Luna taking Scourge because of it's advantages. Plant another ward in the river bank on both sides, and in the enemy's secret shop. If you can manipulate this strategy, you have already own Lina. |

| Registered User | Re: Lina Inverse, Slayer Summary Guide Hmmm... Why not get refresher orb for Lina? I got it with scepter and the ability to cast over 2000plus damage with two Laguna Blades at one go can KO even some strength heroes. |
