| Registered User | Re: [Download] Bots + Virus Scans When will people realize that autoit programs are being treated as viruses by virus scanners, so these scans are tottaly useless, if you want to be sure if it is infected you have to decompile it and check the code O.o |

btw none of these program you listed are programmed in c/cpp so your answer made no sense... Most of them are programmed with auto-it which you need to remove the packers which is fairly simple unless it's with themida which it isn't just google or search for a program to remove aspack or upx and you will find it quickly After that download auto-it and all the tool to auto-it you will find out that auto-it file can be compiled in exe file and decompiled completly back to the original source code, since people want to protect there work they use upx as an extra step so that noob/novice people won't be able to steal there work, though it fairly simple to steal but anyway. They are all auto-it bot except the pinkmonster v1.3 which is a visual basic application, so you need a vb6 decompiler, don't even try to look at it in decompiling it to C, i don't even know if it's possible but if it is... It will be really, really ugly and you won't even be able to figure out if it a trojan or not, that how much ugly it will be. BTW, you can instead recommend user to install a firewall... As far as I know none of the application you listed even make 1 connection to the internet. So basically it goes against the principle of trojan, and it's the proof that all those application are all false/positive claim caused by auto-it or the packer method. Why are application that have a packers used on it have a lot of false/positive call? Because not all anti-virus are good enough to depack the compiled file to verify for virus, and when they take a fingerprint of a packed file and compared it to another packed file that used the same packer, it has some similarity. So in reality there was a virus released many years ago that used this packer and the digital print of that virus has a good part of it which is the digital print of the packer. Some good anti-virus are able to differentiate those, but even the best anti-virus, there are so many virus out there that it hard for them to keep track of all false/positive virus detected. Those application are all 100% safe if you depack remove the packer in it and use virus scan on the decompiled version, or if it auto-it you need to use the auto-it decompiler then you can scan/look at it and it really obvious that it's clean. I hope that the 10 min it took me to write it has raised your curiosity and you will try to decompile those application to it source code or remove the packer in it and use virus scan again on them. | |
