Replacing updated version with 1.16

I am having trouble replacing my updated silkroad client with the v1.16 client. When I run it, and error pops up and says "Please run the "Silkroad.exe"." My v1.16 client is placed in my silkroad folder where everything else is stored and I have everything set up, like loopback adapter and turbocrack12. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong please?

You are trying to use silkroad_client? Or you are trying to play via tbot? bechouse you cant open silkroad thru that client if you do want play without bot. You need to launch sro launcher then it does start. If you are using tbot and you do get that error, Dl new client and replace it
