| Registered User | NuConnector, is it safe? Still having the problem with crashing, when I hit the start training button on this computer, strange but it works fine on my older piece of crap computer. I dled the Nuconnector4aV2 to try and get charactor to bot on this pc, but when I scanned it, I came up with this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Anyone else scanned it with those results? Ive seen my fair share of false positives before, but with the amount of people getting hacked, it raises some concerns. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Registered User | Re: NuConnector, is it safe? its safe, dont know about that download, but if u get it off rev6's website then its safe. google ASPack and you will see its a false positive. Its seems like you or whoever you got this from, got it from kazza or torrent or something. Is this the version thats in VS C++ or the older one? Last edited by 53380; 11-28-2007 at 09:31 AM.. |

| Registered User | Re: NuConnector, is it safe? Thanks for replying. I actually got it from one of the other threads on these forums. I thought it was a false positive, but wanted to see if other people had tried it, and seen what I saw in the scan results. Sooo many people bieng hacked lately, I just wanted to be sure. I know that the virus scan is very sensitive, and does give some false positives, but better safe than hacked I always say. Thanks for the input |

| Registered User | Re: NuConnector, is it safe? Its safe, but yet not really. Its how rev6 gets your account stats, items and whatnot. Easy way to be hacked, they also included your email. Guess the login SN and your gone. They removed it though, but its sending information to their servers as well. |

| Registered User | Re: NuConnector, is it safe? I made a thread that well explain how revbot and nuconnector works and some more. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Take a look there and you'll fin all you need to know. And the way to stop to send ladder packets to rev6 sites too. However the nuConnector is sure. no virus no scam. Nymble it's fully trustable an well knowed and respected here in GzP so stop to flame him. Windragon |
