hey guys first of all idk if im puttin this in the right section!
so admins if its in the wrong section plz move it!!
but i wanted to kno ur guys thoughts on the nvidia 8600GT super 1gig memory,,128bit...
sound like a good card??????? but anyways thats not what i needed lol
well i use softmod (i do buy it from the original site)
and i wanted to kno how many clients do u think i kan run with that card
and 5 gigs of ram????????????? maybe around like 5 clients u think??
plz give some info asap!! :) ty all for ur time n help

he said the s word! lol well i'd imagine around 5/6 clients if not more cause when i run sro it only takes up 200mb and when it's minimized it goesd down more.. so your call but u can deffinetly run alot of them

The amount of RAM you have is more important than the onboard graphics memory. SRO probably doesn't use more than 64mb of texture memory anyway. 5gb should be enough for 8-10 clients.

well you want to bot? my bot takes around 350mb of memory, thats cause I have the distance of view on the max because then bot can select monsters from a futher distance though so 5000/350= 14 :D, if you CPU can handle it..

EDIT: anyways why do you want to run it so much times...I hope you wont make gold bots because you'll piss me off then

Some of that RAM is going to be used by his OS and what ever other programs are running.

As long as tbot is "free" and works, i fail to see the point of using a pixelbot. Tbot uses around 40mb.

ekipsss no i dont plan on makin any gold bots i only bot i get gold the legit way bud :)
i want to kno bcuz my friend doesnt have bot n ima run a couple clients for me
and run a client for him too i was talkin to my friend on sro n he said i should be able to run about 10 clients clean with no lag so if thats the case thats good :))

with this i am gunna do nuthin more than run diff chars :) no gold bots no nuthin
hopefully i pick up a couple sunz :)

all i want with this card n ram is to be able to run about 5-6 clients
and have a legit client runnin so i kan thief... pvp etc.... enjoy sro u kno :))
