| Lurker | Multiclient - idee ? Hey !!! (sry for my poor english) I have idee how run second instance on the same pc without changing enything in Siklorad files ... but not testing this way ... so someone more advanced than me can try this way .... Idee look that: On own PC i can making second virtual pc maschine (example using MS. Virtual Pc, or VMware ) and install ms win xp and second copy of silkroad ... and play silkroad on both pc maschines in the same time... What you think about it ? Thats possible ? |

| Registered User | Re: Multiclient - idee ? no it is not possible to run a 3D intensive game(SRO) on a virtual machine because it uses a virtual graphic card. There haven't any VMware that support intensive gaming on a virtual machine yet. |

first of all... the RAM can be fixed, you do not "require much RAM" if you knew that RAM standed for random access memory... you wouldnt say that, the amout of ram produced by a application can be deleted just after u run it, for example if u run silkroad it would normally use like 500mb of ram, when u do that make the resolution smaller and put all the graphix on lowest. after you do that you need to delete the random memory tat silkroad generated when u ran it. you can do this using some programs... theres a ram optimizer on Tune up utilities... you can download it from there. O.K thats the ram sorted and now... u kept on bullsh*ting... you do not need a VERY good video card, what you need is a video card that can run silkroad on high graphix without the bloom and detailed shadow... if you have a grafix card like that ur good to go... what u have to do is just turn all the grafix of the game to lowest and put the resolution on lowest as well. That will sort everything out. and for u... maxcalavera.... stop bullsh*tting if you dont know what u are talking about... dont do it u moron. | |
