If we are talking about legal stuff then You can use VS Express version of C++, C# or Dev C++.

You find heap loads of compiler if you even try. Lazy.

Visual C++ by Microsoft is free and good for studying.

Cracking is depend on your skill and experience, NOT the compiler you're using.

Try the latest express edition, by Microsoft. Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition.

Remember, cracking is depended on your skill, not the compiler you're using (if there's a best compiler for cracking and programming, then the other compiler put in the bin?)

To crack, you'll need to know how it works, and use the language you mastered to change it to your way.
