That's very weird, try to download it again and extract all files into your silkroad folder.

BTW its working now i was able to click the launch button on the loader but i get this message "ERROR!" then there are unknown characters below it..do you know any solution to this problem?

OK, I know the problem now, you guys are probably using a no-dc client or a media file that is patched with mediapatcher (probably from agbot).

Be sure you have unpatched media.pk2, if that didnt help downoad this sro_client.exe (the original one) and replace this one with the one it your silkroad folder

i already have unpatched the mediapatcher and deleted the no dc client....but i still get an error message consisting of unknown letters or characters after i press the launch button...this message is not the same as the one i reported that says launch silkroad.exe...this one is different....do you know any solution to this?
