silkroad and AVG 8.0

here's how you can play silkroad without deleting AVG (8.0) at leest if you use AVG


1. open AVG
2. go to TOOLS: advanced settings...
3. go to Resident Shield: Exceptions
4. then Add Path and choose c:\program-files\silkroad and click OK or ADD or something like that ^^
5. click OK or APPLY

next you have to do

if AVG deleted sro_client.exe dot this:
1. open AVG
2. go to computer scanner (left of your window)
3. than op virus vault (click on view virus vault)
4. then you get list of virus he has deleted and at the end of the list you see: c:\program-files\silkroad\sro_client.exe (something like this)
5. choose that and next just click on restore

next step:
1. go back to TOOLS: advanced settings ...
2. go to PUP exceptions and choose add exception
3. in FILE you enter this: C:\Program Files\Silkroad\sro_client.exe
or just choose your sro_client.exe where ever you installd SRO
4. click OK or APPLY


now SRO has to work normaly, it helpt for me so i hope it does alsow four you guys ^^

I have AVG and it works with my sro. I don't know what ur AVG is doing. Make sure its not infected. Thx.

i don't know what your talking about, but dind't you read SRO official site ?? there was problem that AVG deleted your SRO or sayd that SRO is a virus or something like that, and i had that problem, but with this you could prevent that AVG deleted your SRO_client.exe

but that was last week, joymax did an update so you don't have that problem anymore, this thread is old you beter can ignore this now
