I have gone through a ton of posts in this section only to find the same thing over and over. First thing, if someone posts some files to download, don't expect somone else to scan them for you all the time. There are WAY too many posts where people are asking if someone else scanned them or if they are safe. SCAN THEM YOURSELF!

Also, be aware of what sites you can use to scan something. Don't always use the sites that are posted with a post. Not all sites will pick up everything. What I mean is if someone posts some files and says scan the files at 'X' site, check the files on a different site. Reason being is the poster probably scanned it with the site he mentioned and knew it wouldn't pick up the infection.

You can't always depend on someone else to protect you.

Last thing, it is a FORUM WIDE rule that you are not to post just saying "Thanks". You are to press the "Thanks" button which can be found in the bottom right hand corner of EACH post. You use that button to thank the poster. Infractions can be given to every post where you just say thanks and not use the button. Using the button will cut out alot of not needed posts.
