is there anyway to stop lagging in a game,when FPS drops down to 5~20

Go to config and go to system tap then go to resolution where theres numbers like 800x600. Go to 2nd last one or last one.

- yes reducing resolution does take of abit of lagg

but best get a new graphics card and RAM to prevent lagg

if u dont know, type "/7740f" in team or normal chat and it will show fps
mine stays around 31.27 and sometimes drops to 20-25 when somebody smokes

try these in order
1) Put: all settings beside screen resolution to lowest
2) if u still lag, change the resolution to lower
3) disable antivirus because it scans the map file every time SF loads a map so it freaking lagssss (optional)

if none of these work, buy a new computer, cuz ur the reason why sf lags

you can do more than just change resolution, i dont like the differnet resolutions, so i just turn down colors to 16 make it bilinier instead of tri, and put on light map, idk if light map changes lagg or anything but i like it lol.

lol idk,when the game is at round 5 or 6 someone lagg..then the whole room lag
