[TUT] Replacing your d3d8.dll [with pics]

Apparently, some people can't get their wallhack to work because they haven't replaced their d3d8.dll. this only goes for people who WEREN'T using fatboy88's wallhack when it was released. This is a PICTURE tut, so if you dont understand anything, you can look at pics.

1) download the attachment in this webpage to replace your system files [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] .

2) Extract it, and copy filetocopy.exe into your local disk (for me its C:\).

3) After you have extracted it, run replacesystemfiles.exe and you will see the message:

4) after you have done that, replace the d3d8.dll i have provided (that came from fatboy88) in your local disk's system files (system32).

5) Remove your filetocopy.exe from your local disk and then restart your computer.

6) Now, your wallhack should work and you can now use it! here are some ingame shots of using the interfacehook.dll (1/12/07) which still works.

I hope this will solve MOST of your wallhack problems if you haven't already done this.

Re: [TUT] Replacing your d3d8.dll [with pics]

Just backup your original d3d8.dll and start up in SAFE MODE ( f8 at startup )

go to your windows/system32 and place the d3d8.dll of Fatboy in it . restart your pc and run 1 of the newest hack ( interface hook ) and it should work perfectly

Re: [TUT] Replacing your d3d8.dll [with pics]

When i click the Replacesystem.Exe,it says Files operation complete...

But then, another warning pop outed saying:-

Windows File protection:

Files that are required for windows to run properly has been replaced by unrecognized version. To maintain system stability,Windows must restore the original versions of these files.

I tried all steps but it still doesnt work.

Right,to avoid confusion ill ask again.

open in Safe mode then download the d3d8.dll once again, and use lesturb steps?

or

Open Safe Mode,Download d3d8.dll,replace and Play SF in safe mode?

Open safe mode, replace d3d8.dll, reboot and play. understand? you should already have the d3d8.dll because you downloaded already. its at the bottom of the first post.
