Can I use this to tap?

Hey i have two questions about tap

I was just wondering can i tap with this type of modem? and how?
[i know the basics of tapping...unplug and plug]

and my second question is that.

The wireless Reciever/sender last light that is on modem

if i press that will that act like a tap? because its d/c and reconnecting the internet...

Cool Re: Can I use this to tap?

umm, if that is a picture of ur modem, then...

U most likely live in Australia
U are stuck with telstra and are using their unreliable internet service (aka Bigpond)

and yes, u can tap with that modem. Basically, using plugging the cable will do, as it dosn't really have a standby button. It has an off button, but dont use that, cuz as u might have noticed, it takes bout 2 - 3 minutes to start up sumtimes (you will get d/c by that time).

and about the wireless, pressing the wireless button basically turns off the wireless, and i dont really think that you can just reconnect to the internet after it turns off as you will have to rescan for the signal, but then again, nothing answers better than experience. So give it a try, and search for threads that deal with wireless tapping.

I hope i help,

Cheers Mate,

CJBoO

i had the same modem when i lived in aussie....

yeah, you can tap with it. just be quick about it, as it has been said before me, that it takes a long time to reconnect, and you will either be killed, or dc
