Try unplugging the wire or pressing any buttons if there is any.

No standby buttons.
Just one that restarts the whole modem.
I run it through ethernet though, and its 9 inches away from me.

try unplugging your ethernet cord (when your ingame) and count how many seconds until you d.c

and thats how long you can tap for (id say around 5seconds)

I can only tap for 5 seconds using ethernet unplugging =D BigPond (my ISP) wont gimme a standby modem >=(

my one costs $250 and can hold ADSL-2 with an inbuild router and wireless router =D

Do you only have the power Line in Because Other pics ive seen Only have a Power cord and thats it

No, the modem has a ethernet, power, usb(optional),and a dsl connections.

can anyone help me,i have a Linksys Wifi modem with 4 ethernet ports 1 power hole and internet port and reset.
should i tap by unplug the ethernet wire from the CPU or from the modem?

hey thats the exact modem i have. i got it from dsl and you have to use the ethernet wire to tap. i didnt connect by usb but did you?
