Playstation 2 Repairs are easy!

Sorry I don't have a picture. Camera need's a new memory stick.

I have single-handedly repaired a playstation 2. I guess my first question will be "What was wrong with it?" or something like "omfg u stup1d u v0id wrrnty"

To answer the first, My playstation recently stopped reading the discs and it wouldn't allow me to play game or movies or music.

To the second, STFU ITS MY PS2 I CAN DO WHAT I WANT WITH IT!

Ok... Now that that's out of the way....

I cut the warrenty sign off and I took off the top. TADA! The top was connected to the bottom. Carefully, I set the top next to it so the wire wouldn't snap. I found what I was looking for. The CD drive! Carefully, I (somehow) unscrewed the tiny little screws and put them in the PARTS bag. Then I took a paper towel, soaked it in Windex, and wiped the lens. Then I put everything back in it's place. It now works like it's right out of the box. People keep telling me it might blow up though...

who the heck told u it would blow up? if u handle it with care and noe wat ur doing, should get things done

LOL, when i fix my mine theres a thing that goes up when its loading a disc then the disc would stop spinning

You had a dirty lense, it's common with ps2 systems. I fixed 3 of them for someone and got to keep 2.

You had a dirty lense, it's common with ps2 systems.
