PS3N Issue One

Ever needed enough PS News to blow your minds out (Yes, you have several now)? Well, you're in luck! I'm personally writing a little mini series highlighting PS3 News, and I'll be calling it PS3N.

Let's start with the first bit of news of the day, eh?

Dragon Ball Z Will Have Online Play!



While the Wii does get online on DBZ first, let's be rational: Since when does anyone plug their Wii into the intertubes? So, Atari and Namco decided to fix their Wii mistake (Heh, pun) and bring it to a more mighty system, the PS3. Oh, and the XBOX360 gets it too.



Resistance 2

Nobody's surprised that they're making a second one. I mean, even the open ended finale of the last game implied a franchise. Do I smell a trio of games, which will feature online and co-operative play? For some reason, I smell angels (cookies to whoever got that rather vague reference). There are some YouTube videos where the developers give an "enthralling" one on one and leak some information. Unfortunately, there is no in-game footage...yet.




New Final Fantasy Screenies



What!? Final fantasy screenshots? At a final fantasy fansite? I don't believe it. It's true, ff-xiii.net has [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] wonderfully new scans for us. Don't wet yourself.


Are Comparisons Biased?

Since the recent Assassin's Creed setting debocle, many fanboys have been pointing fingers. Well, I feel your pain. GameTrailers has commented, stating
"We don't create these videos for the fanboys. That's not the point. We create them so that people who own both systems can be a little more informed on which version to buy. It's the fanboys that turn the comments section for these videos into a debacle. As for using RGB or adjusting the white levels on the PS3, that completely defeats the point of these videos. We play both systems on default settings with the same cabling. If we were to adjust the settings on the PS3 to make it look better then we'd be sacrificing the integrity of the video. It's not the other way around."

In other words, they refuse to crank up the PS3s settings so that it looks nice.


Square Comments on the PS3



Yoichi Wada is the president of Square Enix. So, that qualifies him to say whatever the hell he wants about whatever system. Wada says that Sony isn't advertising properly. He says that the system is selling well because of it's new price, but at the same time, it's too cheap for what you get. I quote, "My phone is more expensive." Turok Demo Coming to Europe in February



Relax! You can get it too..Just make a new PSN account, and state that your location is somewhere in europe. Sure, it's just a little sneaky, but hey, Turok.
