Here's a list I would suggest.

Ratchet and Clank FUTURE: Tools of destruction - A fun game if your looking for action and adventure. [Rated E]
Grand Theft Auto 4 - if your looking for violence, fun, and total power. Very fun, Very long, and very hard. [Rated M]
Ninja Gaiden - Fighting game, lots of technique's and fightning style. Also a long game. [Rated M] I think =\
Call of Duty 4 - Serve as the army, shoot, kill, and have fun. If your looking for action this is the game for you.
EA Skate - My personal favorites. Make sure your good with the thumb stick =)
Devil May Cry 4 - A short game, but lots of skills and a fantastic story line if I may add. If you get this game you won't be dissapointed.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Coming this November

i'm sure you know assassin's creed is supposed to be great. theres lots of awesome moves and handling the character is fun. if you have any doubts check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
the review basically says it all.

Why has WarHawk been left out?
If you like multiplayer games, I'd get this one - Especially now that it's $30 online and $40 with a headset.
