nice. i had 5 psps, 1 bricked. perminently. so i shot it with my dads gun. :D

the other 2 i sold on ebay.

also psp are pretty durable. i dropped mines so many times on concret, face down. and yet just a few scratches.

I think you should just use the warranty while you still have it... I mean, why not?
Even if you fix it, what if another problem (similar one) comes along when your warranty runs out? That would suck and if I were you i'd probably just avoid that and send it in.

Knowing Sony, they'll most likely send you a new one or give you the value in $.

yea try the freakign warranty! btw if u drop electrionic on liquid, u can try certain stuff like oven it for a while so it get hot smth liuddat
