Is there such thing as torrenting PS3 games online and then burning it to a CD, insert it and play or just copying it to the HDD on PS3?

I could possibly happen, maybe with a jailbroken ps3. I've seen a video last year, fancy stuff, to jailbreak a ps3.

About jailbreaking, I thought it only required a custom-made USB dongle.
Is there such thing as downloading it to the PS3 and jailbreaking it without the dongle?

I'm not sure, haven't really looked into, surely coders are happy to hear the news about Sony, accidently tweets the jailbreak code.

I don't know much about those values/codes, so I can't help you there. Sorry, I just found it amusing that a Sony official confirmed it was the code to jailbreak the new system. ;D

Your can't burn a Game to a CD because Games Require Blue-Ray. If your Ps3 is jailbreak you can copy games to your HDD but you have to have the disc to play online.

yes the only way to torrent game is homebrew your ps3 and jailbreak it to

yeah this home brew stuff works, but i'm sure sony's going to ban all those home brew ps3s like microsoft did. this caused many people to go out and buy new ones
