Best PS3 Games?

I'm looking into getting a PS3 finally - what are some games you guys would suggest for a moderate gamer?



I'm particularly interested in some good RPGs and first person shooters.

FF13 was ok (not terribly exciting compared to previous FF games though) so if you do get it make sure it was second hand, COD:MW3 is awsome (the whole MW series was pretty damn good imo), God of War 3 is a must have (1 and 2 are only awesome if you truely enjoy 3 as the controls in 1 and 2 are dicey at times). Killzone is fun though i wouldnt recommend it at full price, I hear BF3 is good too (more technical than MW3). There are more, as for FPS games with good stories I say Medal of Honor (the newest one) has one of the best and most realistic stories for FPS games. Rent if youre not sure before you buy.

MW2 but you will see alot of hacked lobby which is pretty stupid... Also gran turismo 5

I prefer Journey, Street Fighter X Tekken, Jak and Daxter Collection, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, The Darkness II and Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Prototype 2, Assassins Creed 3 (not out yet but the demo is amazing), God of War 3, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, SSX, and last The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I really like Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. It's a metroidvania that mixes parts from the 2d games. Has a fun 6-player coop also.
