Starcraft 1 keygen

hey guys. i have not been on the forums for a long time, so, Im back!
anyways, I have downloaded some keygens (cd key generators) for sc, and it actually works! (i copyed the keygen code onto a program that tells if it is valid or not, and it works)
So, i am asking if anyone knows the algorithm or math (if not algebraic) steps of how to figure out a sc cdkey code? its hard for the most part. me and my friend are working are @$$es of trying to figure out what it is, but if anyone knows anything, please post! thanks!

What I can't figure out, is why you would even want a keygen for starcraft? I mean, the game is only about $5, $10. Why would you want to try to get it free? And all that aside, if you actually respect the developers of the game, you should buy it. Otherwise your just stealing a game that only has 16bit 2D graphics.

Even though it's hard to believe, many people have money problems. They may not be able to spend 5 - 10 USD on a game.
