steam error

Hi im very sorry if im in the wrong fourms,very.

Well i use to be able to play css and hl2 and stuff but now when i start up
the games from steam, it loads about half way but right before it has the options to find a match or anything, it turns the game off and has a error that says

"failed to lock vertex buffer in CMesh"




Now ive tried almost everything i can think of. Updateing drivers reinstalling the games and everything. i searched it up and havent found a solution even tried calling steam. there obvisoly no help.


if anyone knows how i can fix this or anything that may help please tell me.

please someone help me. i hate to sound like a loser/ "noob" but i use to be able to play this game. and i really really want to play it again its been a month all ready of me not being able to fix it.



its pretty sad lol =(
