A Good Day to be 13

Hi guys, as most of you all know, the Celtics won the finals.

I think it's a good sign that they won around/on 12 AM EST, because, well, it's my birthday. I turned 13, and I rewarded myself with a little present:

I think $99.99 USD is a great deal considering how fun the games are. I also just bought Garry's Mod to make it even more exciting.

My computer will run most of the games fine, but I only have a 128MB graphics card, maybe my parents will buy me a 256MB graphics card later on today (it's 1:58 AM at the moment). Anyways, like the subject says, it's a good day, or night, to be 13.

Well, two things: Your graphics card size is worthless information. A 256 Megabyte 8800GT vastly outperforms two 512MB 8500GTS. I think it'd be about four 512MB 8500GTS before they even get close to the raw power of an 8800GT.

Some more things you'd want to make sure you have is two GB of RAM and at least a 3.0 GhZ Pentium IV.

oh and if you are going to buy a new graphics card go for the 8800Gt. if you can't afford it, go get the next best thing which is 8600gt. Don't settle for anything else

Actually, the 7950GX2 vastly outperforms the 8600GT. You just won't be able to run DirectX10 or Shader 4.0 (Which isn't a problem if you don't have Vista).

And seeing that none of those games are Shader 4.0 (or DX10) compatible, I wouldn't worry about it.
