This is not really a hack or even an exploit question but since no one in the steam or hidden source forums could help me I figured I must turn to you all. I have the Half Life 2 LC from the nvidia promotion and figured out how to run Hidden Source with it (since death match didn't work) But now I always get the error when trying to open tutorial "Unable to Open authentication library, exiting.." or something like that and when i try to connect to a server it won't connect. So far the only workaround I've heard of is to run it using source sdk base. (applaunch id-215) But since I have a promotional copy of the game I can't download it. I tried downloading it from my friends account,moving the folder to to my account folder, appying the undead patch so that it would recognize it,and for a second I thought it worked but then it said something like You don't own this game or something like that. Does anyone know what I can do so that I can play Hidden Source? (by the way i orginally joined so i could take part in the rumble fighter hacking, so i've never posted before in the steam forums soo umm..Hi!)
