New section for tools

I think it will add just a little touch if a Tools section is added under general gaming, where users can post hacking tools, such as Cheat Engine, MHS, Packet Editors, WPE Pro sense no one can seem to find it with a simple google search.

I will gladly add a lot to start the section off.

I don't think you deserve the right to make a decision for a community.

I love the explanations as to why we don't need one as well.

There are so many tools that can be used for games, are we only limited to programs that are considered "hacking" ?

It may not be his decision but sharing your opinion is wrong. I do agree with him though, creating a section dedicated to just tools would be pretty pointless possibly less organized. It being posted in the game section itself would be best because people don't have to go out and look for it. That and looking for a section in a very long forum is killer. Just my two cents.

The tools are only limited to being game related, but that's only my idea, I mean this is a game hacking community so I figure game hacking tools would be a good addition. Instead of linking users to other sites all the time or telling them to google this and find it, we can just tell them to search the tools section.

Wesleyplet, lengend is a little mad at me for some reason as he showed in the IRC nearly 1 minute before his post.

I have no objection to denial of this suggestion, but I just like to hear ACTUAL FEEDBACK, not just "this idea sucks", tell me why, and tell me what we could do to fix it, that's the whole purpose of a community, to work together.

Citizin's got a point there. In the Suggestion Section, its for Users to suggest and then hear opinions of other users as well as Staff. Not to hear "Lousy idea.." and phrases to that effect.

An alternative however, would be to create a thread, Citizin. Then, if the 'General Gaming' Moderator
( [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ) then finds it useful, he/she would help you Sticky it. Making your thread a 'Main' Thread for tools rather than a Section that has threads like "Cheat Engine" and another " Ollydebugger", One program - One thread.

You could create a thread with your own tools to start it off. When others have new programs to share, you could then edit your post to add their programs in as well. This will make things much easier. I hope you would agree with me.

Edit : A quick search brought me to this Thread with similar tools to what you are proposing to upload.

Yeah I saw that thread, look when it was last updated 11-25 lol.

But that idea would work, I guess until any further word from an admin comes in I will make a new thread and a bigger one sense I can't add on to that one.
