[Hidden content] stop leachers

A hidden content button that when you put text inside it just like this

people cant view it unless they give a thanks or post something, this way leachers HAVE to post witch is good for the site and is good for the hard working people who create the post. Well i think it's a good idea.

We've had it before, and all people did is reply with "thanks". This isn't the sort of posts we want on the forum.

Like what r2k has said, this will make the forums more filled with spam - just for them to be able to see that particular post. I guess we wouldn't want a spam-filled forum.

But then why does the forum have a spam section? Also it helps the forums out by having more post witch is the point of the spam section.....IDK thats just the way i see it.

There's a spam section to stop people from spamming in the other sections. I don't see what the spam section has to do with thanking people, especially since you can't thank people in the spam section.

Hadn't this been already posted? Anyway, I used to be a member of a forum that closed down now, and they had a function (like {quote}{/quote}) and it was hide hack. I can't remember what you would put in the [], but it was something like [hide-100]hi[/hide] The 100 would be the minimum amount of posts a person could have to see the contents of the HH.

That's good.

Amount of posts then people can view it.

This sounds like a good idea :o

But still, it would probably lead to peoples spamming down the forums to get higher post counts... (like me :D)

That then, will be unfair to those who just joined us on the forums. This would lead the newcomers on the forum to Spam just to reach the post count of 100, to download the 'Hacks' - Then leave.

Maybe that could be used for Underground Forums, but not for Public ones.
