Activity Bar.

An activity bar could be used to show whos been active. Also you could have points every 5 days straight your active.

I think it would be pretty kool to get an idea on how active people are.
Showing a slight dedication they put forth helping and chatting on GzP.

Firstly i dont see the point of seeing who is active. If you wanted to, you most likely have someone in mind. In that case just search for that user and you'll know when his last post was.

Secondly, you get 100 points daily for visiting the forums

We took the activity bar off because of the strain it put on the server. Everytime someone loaded a page, it made a call through every user we have in our database to see if they're online. That's quite a bit of work for our server to do for the thousands of people on here every day.

I kind of meant to see how active users are. For instance, there could be a bar that shows red as inactive and green as active. It could also help with Mod applications i guess.

Isn't this suggestion off of FzP? I don't necessarily think an activity bar is a need on GzP. It's maybe going to cause spam and other things if implemented, too.

How would an activity bar, simply showing how active users are promote spam?
