Your question is kind of opinionated, it will just cause people to debate on wether or not Mercutio was a memorable character.
Also, the idea in general was to help the people, not do the entire assignment given for them.
I'd also be glad to refer you here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Which after reading, you can decide for yourself if he was a memorable character or not.
We can encourage people to ask questions based on facts, those which can undoubtly be aswered and closed off afterwerds. (2 + 2 = 4) none-debatable.
Adding rules is also a great idea, even though people do not always read them or follow them.
Even with the rules we have established now, some people just can't comprehend the fact that they need to follow the rules. These people can be infracted or banned upon violation of the rules. Adding this section isn't gonna make that any different.
The question I asked was from my 10th grade English class, where students wrote from both perspectives - so this was a real assignment. I'm not asking for him to do the whole assignment, just an outline. There's no point of you referring me to Wikipedia because this is a hypothetical situation in which I don't understand why Mercutio is a memorable character.
Your not supppsed to have others do it for you, Its just that they help you, it mainly helps in math, what about C++ they help eachother no one calls each other a noob, they help others finsih thier dlls =), why cant it work with homework.

Again, I'm not having someone write me an essay; I just want a simple outline.
And, if this mainly helps in math, then what's the point of adding a whole new section? If you need help in math, get a tutor, ask a peer, or ask a teacher...

I dont need this stuff , anyways, this is for people who really just need help on one thing, like not continuous help or they are stuck on something, i know these things can really come in handy,

You've already replied twice, but I see no hint of you writing me an outline.

This is exactly what makes the question debatable, which I would like to avoid, I also mentioned/suggested this earlier.
I also stated to try and ask questions based on facts, r2k already willingly mentioned he had no problems aswering any questions concerning science.
We help! Not "do it for". Wether it is the entire assignment or a short outline. we do not need to do it for you.
The exact same concept of rules for hacking/programming is used here. We provide you with infomation, resources, anything else you might need to get your "homework" done.
edit:
Ofcourse people could suggest or write the short outline for you, but let it be known that I don't think that is solely the purpose of the section might it be added.

Regardless of whether or not a question is "debateable," the question will still be answerable. And if you're just going to give up because there are two or more answers, the section will be pointless.
As I've stated above, if you need help, you've got your tutors, peers, and teachers.
Personally, I would see no problem with a section like this. However, I doubt it would be active and to solve some of the above problems, we'd just need moderators. I'm neutral on this, but if we had to vote I'll stick on the approval side due to my optimistic view.

Did you leave my edit deliberately out of the quote?
I'll just say it again; it wouldn't be the sole purpose of the section.
When doing homework you either face 2 types of questions, those of which requiring your opinion and the others based on facts.
What we want to do here is let people asking questions based on opinions keep it to themselves, this, because there are a thousand different legit answers. There will be an endless line of opinions that pop up. Let's also note that an opinion is never wrong, at least so I was thought in school when it came to questions like that.
Facts on the other hand (2 + 2 = 4) cannot be debated about. Asking questions as such, will give the rest of the community the ability to provide them with a solid answer that's unarguably correct.
Stickies can be made for this, set up with some solid rules.
And besides, tutors, peers and teachers might be among us, some even willing to share some of their knowledge.
