Signature Character Limit.

At the moment the limit (including BB code markup) is at 1000 characters for signatures. I feel that this is not enough to put what i want in my signature. Other people might feel the same way so that is why i am suggesting the limit be raised to 2000 characters.

2000 may be too much.We could go about 1500 or 1300.

My suggestion would be to go by size, if its 7 characters at size 1000 then it takes up more than a page. 5 inch max

What are you putting a novel in your signature?
It's mighty fine, if not too high.

yeah, well theres a lot of stuff that make up the sig limit and depending on what you put in your sig some people may have little room or some may have a lot of room. i dont really see the big deal in increasing the limit, seeing as it can be done through the Admin Panel.

Everything that affects this board can be changed through the admin panel, but that doesn't mean it should be done...

The sig limit is fine; I doubt you have something so important for everyone to read that it has to be published.

Most forums have a 255 characters limit
